We’re back with an activity for your family to do as you roll into Thanksgiving week: a Gratitude Scavenger Hunt!
This is a fun activity you can do together as a family, or send the little ones off to work on it if you need some time to focus on cooking, hosting, or taking a moment to relax and restore yourself. To make the most of this tool, consider these options depending on the ages of your kids:
For older kids, you could have each kid do a separate scavenger hunt and then come back together as a family to discuss based on the steps below.
Families with a preschooler or toddler might want to do it together, with parents helping younger kids to pause and notice how they feel as they find each item.
Depending on reading and writing skill levels, kids can draw pictures or write in the boxes themselves, or have grown-ups write down their responses for them.
