Anxiety and fear
All of our skills and tools for dealing with anxiety, worry, and fear.
Anxiety and fear can be natural signals that help keep us safe. But sometimes anxiety can grow louder than it needs to, convincing kids to avoid things that aren’t actually dangerous, like meeting new friends or sleeping in the dark. When fear or worry starts calling the shots, kids can miss out on fun, learning, and growth.
The good news? Kids can learn to observe their worries without always thinking they’re true, and to face fears through exposure — small, brave steps that help kids “boss back” fear and anxiety. We’ve gathered Minds in Bloom resources on anxiety, worry, and fear to help parents and caregivers guide kids toward courage and confidence.
